SBDC at M State
The Small Business Development Center at M State is here to help.
Starting a new business, selling an old one, or something in-between?
Small Business Development Centers are the nation's largest small business assistance network. Local offices throughout the country connect small business owners and entrepreneurs with federal, state and local government resources as well as the resources and knowledge of higher education institutions, economic development organizations and the private sector.
SBDC clients are advised by expert consultants on everything from starting a new business to selling an old one. The vast majority of services are free and confidential.
Minnesota has nine regional SBDC offices around the state. The West Central Minnesota office is located on M State's Moorhead campus, in room B111. It serves Clay, Becker, Otter Tail, Wilkin, Grant, Douglas, Traverse, Pope and Stevens counties.
M State has been the host of the regional SBDC office since January 2023, when it was selected because of M State's established partnerships with regional businesses and industry, proven commitment to business development, available resources, and large geographic and demographic footprint.
